About Us
CECN is a Non-Governmental Organisation established in April 2024 with the objective to improve the social – economic status of the under represented and disadvantaged communities in Nigeria as well as increase their level of political awareness as a means of demanding good governance and accountability in the country’s political system. Over time the work of the organisation will grow to focus on the education and empowerment of these groups.
PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES
Catalysing leadership and socio-economic growth for underrepresented communities in Nigeria
Cross-Sectoral Dialogues:
We organize forums, conferences, and roundtable discussions that bring together leaders from government, civil society, business, academia, and other sectors to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore collaborative solutions to key societal challenges.
Leadership Development:
CECN offers a range of programs, workshops and mentorship opportunities aimed at equipping individuals with the skills, knowledge and mindset they need to develop their leadership capabilities.
Through asset based community development, we train citizens especially women in rural communities to adopt innovative farming practices ( a blend of modern and traditional practices) to enhance economic opportunities, protect the environment and create new revenue streams.
