About Us

CECN is a Non-Governmental Organisation established in April 2024 with the objective to improve the social – economic status of the under represented and disadvantaged communities in Nigeria as well as increase their level of political awareness as a means of demanding good governance and accountability in the country’s political system. Over time the work of the organisation will grow to focus on the education and empowerment of these groups.

Aims and Objectives:

• To encourage, enlighten and empower citizens to acquire leadership capabilities across sectors for the purpose of becoming active citizens and agents of positive change in society.

• To engage in human resource development programmes for women youths and under- represented groups.

• To organise trainings conferences, workshops and activities geared towards building leadership in line with the concept of active and good citizenship.

• To network and collaborate with relevant government agencies, civil society groups, non governmental organisations, and international corporate organisations, to advocate for the empowerment of under represented groups.
